Specialized Industry-Related Training Received: 20+ years in the display/store fixture business, plus an educational background of BFA, Industrial Design and MBA Marketing.
Favorite Book or Magazine: Fine Homebuilding, as I love to learn from the pros.
Favorite Pastimes or Hobbies: Building houses. But in this economy, I have concentrated on remodeling my own homes. I own every woodworking tool imaginable and a wet saw for installing slate or marble bathroom walls and floors.
What Are You a Fan Of? “Less is more.”
What Else Are You Passionate About? Gardening, as I have three gardens at three different homes in different climates, and each has been researched and planted according to the climate zone. In addition, when I do a new construction project, half of the fun is in the research and designing of the space.
Favorite Food or Snack: Since I am always on a diet at home, when I travel I look for unique restaurants in the city I am traveling to. My latest find is the Le Bernardin in New York City. “Out of this world 4-Star French” and it was even diet!
