Here we grow!
Tusco Display of Gnadenhutten has opened a facility in New Philadelphia to assemble water vending machines that will be placed in retail outlets throughout the United States.
The operation initially will employ seven workers, but as the company ramps up production, additional people will be added, said Mike Lauber, president and chief executive officer of Tusco Display.
Area business and political leaders attended a ribbon-cutting ceremony Monday afternoon at the plant, at 444 Bank Lane in the city’s southwest quadrant. Tusco Display is leasing the 15,000-square-foot facility from Hicks Realty with an option to buy it.
“We love it here in T-County,” Lauber said at the opening of the ceremony, noting that the area has a great work force and his company has received great support here.
